Our story
After decades in the healthcare supply chain space—as a data and technology executive at a leading performance improvement company—I’ve seen new ideas come and go. I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of health systems on their transformation efforts, and through that, I’ve gained something rare: a broad, firsthand view of what truly drives results.
Patterns emerge when you have that kind of sample size. You see what sticks. What breaks. And most importantly, what scales. Over the years, I’ve built a toolkit—not just of frameworks and data models, but of real-world know-how that moves organizations forward.
ValuFoundry was created to put that experience to work—helping teams turn complexity into clarity, and strategy into execution. This work is my opportunity to give back to the industry that shaped me, and to help healthcare leaders forge value that lasts.

Troy Kirchenbauer is a healthcare executive and builder with more than two decades of experience leading data, product, and supply chain transformation.
Known for his ability to bring clarity to complexity, he has helped providers and health tech companies unlock hundreds of millions in value through aligned strategy and execution.
Before creating ValuFoundry, Troy served as SVP of Digital Supply Chain at Vizient, where he led enterprise strategy and product efforts across $300B in healthcare spend. He also launched and scaled a $50M tech-enabled contracting platform still in market today. Troy brings operational discipline, deep industry knowledge, and a relentless focus on impact to every engagement.
